Brushdale was created by Martin back in 2010 and has since become one of the UK’s leading ecological contractors. Martin (55) continues to lead the Company and you will have regular contact with him as well as his capable and enthusiastic team.

Martin spent 24 years with the NatWest Group managing traditional High Street branches, lending money to business customers and training managers to do the same. He subsequently became an Assistant Director of The National Trust where he led on organisation wide training and development for the charity for six years. He was awarded a Fellowship from the Institute of Leadership & Management for his achievements and capabilities.

Under his leadership Brushdale has a very clear focus on the customer, safety, quality and reliability.

Josh Willis – Operations Manager

Josh leads day to day operations across Brushdale and is also Senior Contracts Manager supported by Adam Lister and Ed Jarvis. Now in his seventh year at Brushdale he is well known by all of our clients. Responsible for planning and resourcing approximately two hundred individual contracts across England and Wales each year he ensures that timescales are met along with a high level of service and quality control.

Josh works closely with Martin Measures to maintain good client relationships, evaluate client needs and price contracts.

Adam Lister – Contracts Manager

Adam has been involved with Brushdale for some years and now leads contracts, especially those which require the creation of habitat including ponds and setts. Adam has a wealth of experience having worked in the countryside prior to migrating into ecological mitigation. Contracts can range from single days where habitat requires translocation through to phased contracts over a year or more in support of larger corporate projects.

Ed Jarvis – Assistant Contracts Manager

Ed has been with Brushdale since completing his degree in Biology at Bristol University in 2015. The anchor man in the office for part of each week, he also manages an increasing number of contracts for the translocation of reptiles and amphibians.
